PROJECT FOR CELLO AND PIANO | EMILY MANTONE AND UMI GARRETT

Hannah Ishizaki will work collaboratively with cellist Emily Mantone and Pianist Umi Garrett to create an hour long immersive piece for Cello, Piano, and Electronics.

Presented by the Kaufman Music Center, Ian Schaefer will conduct the premiere of "Odori" by Hannah Ishizaki and Beethoven's 7th Symphony in his New York City conducting debut at Merkin Hall. There will be a pre-concert talk at 7 PM with Elliott Forrest of WQXR.

Hannah Ishizaki and Gabrielle Lamb will collaborate on a piece for the New York City Ballet Choreographic Institute for Piano Trio and 8–10 dancers.

As one of five winners of National Sawdust's Hildegard Commission, Hannah Ishizaki wrote a piece for Mezzo-Soprano, Cello, Brake Drum, and Electronics to be performed by the National Sawdust Ensemble. Other works on the program include music by yaz lancaster, DM R, Kelley Sheehan, and Andrea Guterres. This concert is made possible by the Onassis Foundation and the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation.

A Sonic Installation featuring the works of the 2023 Hildegard Commission winners, Andrea Guterres, DM R, Hannah Ishizaki, Kelley Sheehan, and Yaz Lancaster will open at the Rockefeller Center.

Will Hopkins, percussionist, presents Music for 18 Musicians by Steve Reich and Gay Guerrilla by Julius Eastman. Hannah will play violin as a part of the Reich.

As a part of a works-in-progress showing, Hannah will present a new work for Speaker and electronic voice and perform as a violinist in the Harris/Woolfson Orchestra Studio at the Juilliard School.
ZIPPER MUSIC | JUILLIARD PERCUSSION QUARTET

In Paul Hall at the Juilliard School, four Juilliard percussionists will premiere the expanded version of "Zipper Music," written in 2020 and revised in 2023.
DECA CONCERT | IC PLAYERS

The IC players will premiere a work for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, and Piano by Hannah at the Coraopolis United Methodist Church for their 10th anniversary concert.
